I never quite minded the famed "last two episodes", but there is a problem for me: Where did Shinji GO TO?! I mean, all I see is that he got teleported to some ROCK! It would have made more sense if he woke up in the middle of a machine instead, since everybody says 'congratulations' as though they were monitering his progress in the Human Instrumentality Project.
